Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 3 cups cooked long grain white rice
- 1 medium yellow onion, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 2 celery stalks, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning

- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup chicken or beef broth
- 1 tbsp olive oil or butter

Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Add onion, bell pepper, and celery. Sauté for 5–7 minutes until softened.
- Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add Cajun seasoning, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
- Pour in broth and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in cooked rice and cook for 5–7 minutes until heated through and liquid is mostly absorbed.
- Taste and adjust seasonings. Garnish with green onions or parsley if desired.
