Ingredients

1/2 cup milk (pistachio milk or milk of choice)
23 tablespoons strawberry jam
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 teaspoons matcha powder
2 tablespoons hot water
1/2 cup cold water
1/2 teaspoon lavender honey or regular honey (optional)
Ice, for serving

Instructions

Add the milk, strawberry jam, and vanilla extract to a blender.
Blend until smooth and creamy to create the strawberry milk.
Fill a serving glass with ice.
Pour the strawberry milk over the ice and set aside.
In a small bowl, whisk the matcha powder and hot water together until a smooth paste forms.
Add the cold water and honey, if using.
Whisk vigorously until the mixture becomes frothy.
Slowly pour the matcha mixture over the strawberry milk to create a layered effect.
Stir before drinking and enjoy immediately.

Notes

Use high-quality ceremonial or premium matcha for the best flavor and color.
Homemade strawberry jam creates a fresher, fruitier taste.
Any milk works well, including almond, oat, soy, dairy, or pistachio milk.
Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less jam or honey.
For an extra creamy latte, use barista-style plant-based milk.
Serve immediately to maintain the beautiful layered presentation.
