Ingredients

1 lb ground beef
4 slices thick-cut bread
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
2 tbsp butter (softened)
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

Cook the beef:
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook ground beef for 7–9 minutes until browned. Drain excess fat.
Season:
Reduce heat to medium, add salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir and cook for 1 more minute.
Prepare bread:
Butter one side of each bread slice.
Assemble sandwiches:
Place one slice of bread butter-side down, add cheddar cheese, cooked beef, then mozzarella. Top with another slice (butter-side up).
Toast:
Cook in a skillet over medium heat for 3–4 minutes per side, pressing lightly, until golden brown and cheese is melted.
Serve:
Remove from heat, let rest for 1 minute, slice, and serve warm.
