Make Strawberry Dessert Bruschetta with crispy toasted bread, creamy Nutella filling, fresh strawberries, and crunchy walnuts. An easy dessert that’s perfect for entertaining.
8 slices sourdough bread, ½-inch thick
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
4 ounces cream cheese, softened to room temperature
⅓ cup Nutella hazelnut spread
2 cups strawberries, diced
¼ cup walnuts, chopped and toasted
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Brush one side of each sourdough slice with melted butter.
Arrange the bread slices on the prepared baking sheet, buttered side facing up.
Bake for about 5 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and crisp.
Remove from the oven and allow the toasts to cool completely.
In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat together the cream cheese and Nutella until smooth and creamy. Alternatively, use a hand mixer.
Spread the Nutella cream cheese mixture evenly over each toast.
Top with diced strawberries.
