Ingredients

Pumpkin Cream Mixture

  • 245 grams (1 cup) pumpkin puree (canned or fresh)
  • 50 grams (1/4 cup) light brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 75 grams (1/3 cup) granulated sugar
  • 175 grams (6 ounces) mascarpone cheese

Other Ingredients

  • 225 ml (1 cup) strong coffee
  • 12 ladyfinger cookies
  • 250 ml (1 cup) heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Prepare Coffee: Brew one cup of strong coffee and set aside to cool.
  2. Make Pumpkin Cream: In a large mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, light brown sugar, cinnamon, ground ginger, nutmeg, granulated sugar, and mascarpone cheese. Beat the mixture until smooth and creamy, about 60-80 seconds.
  3. Dip Ladyfingers: Break each ladyfinger cookie in half. Quickly dip each piece into the prepared coffee, ensuring they soak briefly to avoid becoming too soggy.
  4. Layer Cookies: Arrange two halves of coffee-dipped ladyfinger cookies side by side at the bottom of each of the six dessert cups, forming a base layer.
  5. Pipe Pumpkin Cream: Transfer the pumpkin cream mixture into a large piping bag and pipe a layer over the ladyfinger base in each cup.
  6. Repeat Layers: Repeat layering ladyfinger halves dipped in coffee and pumpkin cream to build up to four layers total—two layers of cookies and two layers of pumpkin cream.
  7. Chill: Cover each cup with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight to set and allow flavors to meld.
  8. Prepare Whipped Cream: Meanwhile, in a clean bowl, beat the heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form, about 1-2 minutes. Transfer to a piping bag.
  9. Finalize and Serve: Remove tiramisu cups from the refrigerator. Pipe a dollop of whipped cream on top of each dessert cup and dust lightly with cinnamon powder. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For best results, use freshly brewed strong coffee cooled to room temperature.
  • Do not over-soak ladyfingers to prevent sogginess in the finished dessert.
  • Refrigerate for a minimum of 8 hours to allow the tiramisu to set properly.
  • You may substitute canned pumpkin with fresh pumpkin puree if preferred.
  • Use mascarpone cheese for authentic texture and flavor; cream cheese can be an alternative but will alter taste slightly.
