Ingredients

Chicken and Sliders

  • 24 ounces frozen crispy boneless chicken bites (such as Tyson Anytizers)
  • 12 count Hawaiian rolls
  • 8 ounces dill pickle chips

Garlic Mayo Spread

  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Hot Honey Sauce

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons Frank’s RedHot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the chicken: Cook 24 ounces of frozen crispy boneless chicken bites in the air fryer or oven according to the package instructions until heated through and crispy.
  2. Prepare the buns: Slice the 12 count Hawaiian rolls horizontally from the side. Remove the top layer and set aside for later.
  3. Make the garlic mayo spread: Mix ¼ cup mayonnaise with 1 teaspoon garlic powder until well combined, then spread evenly on the bottom halves of the buns.
  4. Separate the rolls: Replace the top section of the buns and separate into individual sliders. Remove the top half of each slider bun and set aside.
  5. Create the hot honey sauce: Melt 3 tablespoons unsalted butter and transfer to a large bowl. Add ¼ cup honey, 2 tablespoons Frank’s RedHot sauce, 1 teaspoon paprika, and 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper to the melted butter. Stir well to combine.
  6. Coat the chicken: Add the cooked chicken bites to the bowl with the hot honey sauce and gently toss to coat each piece thoroughly.
  7. Assemble the sliders: Evenly divide the coated chicken bites on the bottom half of each bun. Tear or cut larger pieces of chicken as needed to fit the buns properly.
  8. Add pickles and top buns: Top the chicken with dill pickle chips and replace the top halves of the buns.
  9. Serve: Serve the sliders immediately while warm and enjoy.
  10. Alternate assembly (optional): For easier assembly, keep the rolls attached. Spread garlic mayo on the bottom half, place chicken on top, add pickles, then replace the top half. Use a sharp knife to cut the sliders apart before serving.

Notes

  • You can cook the chicken bites in either the air fryer or oven depending on your preference or the package instructions.
  • Adjust the amount of cayenne pepper if you prefer a milder or spicier kick.
  • For extra flavor, consider adding a slice of cheddar cheese to each slider before topping with pickles.
  • These sliders are best served immediately to maintain the crispiness of the chicken.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator and reheated, but the buns may lose some softness and the chicken crispiness.
