Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) golden mushroom soup
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 packet dry Italian dressing seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 12 oz angel hair pasta (or preferred pasta)

Instructions

  1. Spray the inside of the crockpot with nonstick spray or use a slow cooker liner.
  2. Place the chicken at the bottom of the crockpot.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Add golden mushroom soup, cream cheese, Italian dressing mix, and chicken broth. Whisk until smooth.
  4. Pour the sauce over the chicken in the crockpot.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 5–6 hours or on high for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is tender.
  6. About 15 minutes before serving, cook the angel hair pasta according to package instructions and drain.
  7. Shred or slice the chicken if desired, and serve over pasta with sauce spooned on top.
