Ingredients

Bean Layer

  • 16 ounce can refried beans
  • 1 ounce packet taco seasoning
  • 24 tablespoons heavy cream
  • ¼ cup Fiesta blend shredded cheese (from the 8 ounce bag)

Guacamole Layer

  • 16 ounce container guacamole

Sour Cream Layer

  • 16 ounce tub sour cream

Salsa Layer

  • 1 cup chunky salsa

Cheese and Toppings

  • Remaining 7.75 ounces Fiesta blend shredded cheese
  • 2.25 ounce can sliced olives
  • ½ cup cherry tomatoes, quartered
  • 3 tablespoons chopped cilantro

Optional Garnish

  • Tortilla chips

Instructions

  1. Prepare Cups: Set out eight 9-ounce clear, disposable cups to assemble the dip layers.
  2. Heat Beans: Place refried beans in a large microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently until heated through.
  3. Season Beans: Mix in taco seasoning packet, 2 tablespoons heavy cream, and ¼ cup shredded cheese until melted and combined for a creamy, seasoned bean base.
  4. Adjust Consistency: Stir the beans until cooled enough to touch; add more heavy cream, 1 tablespoon at a time, if needed to achieve a thick, spreadable consistency.
  5. First Layer: Spoon ¼ cup of the prepared refried bean mixture evenly into the bottom of each cup.
  6. Prepare Guacamole: Transfer guacamole to a piping bag or sealable plastic bag and cut off a corner to pipe easily.
  7. Layer Guacamole: Pipe a ring of guacamole around the inside edge of each cup on top of the beans, then fill the centers with remaining guacamole evenly.
  8. Even Guacamole: Use a spoon to smooth the guacamole into an even layer in each cup.
  9. Layer Sour Cream: Repeat the piping process with sour cream, creating an even layer above the guacamole in each cup.
  10. Add Salsa: Spoon ¼ cup chunky salsa over the sour cream layer and gently spread it evenly with a spoon.
  11. Top with Cheese: Sprinkle ¼ cup shredded cheese on top of the salsa layer in each cup.
  12. Add Fresh Toppings: Garnish each cup with 1 tablespoon sliced olives, 1 tablespoon quartered cherry tomatoes, and 1 teaspoon chopped cilantro.
  13. Optional Garnish and Serve: Place a tortilla chip in each cup as a garnish if desired, then serve immediately.
