Ingredients
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
8 oz fettuccine pasta
3 tbsp butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
Optional: 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
Season chicken with Cajun seasoning evenly.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat; cook chicken until browned and cooked through, about 5–7 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Add heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
Stir in grated Parmesan cheese and cook until sauce thickens, about 3–5 minutes.
Meanwhile, cook fettuccine according to package instructions; drain.
Slice or dice chicken and toss with pasta and creamy sauce.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Add sautéed bell peppers or mushrooms for extra flavor and veggies.
Use smoked paprika alongside Cajun seasoning for smoky depth.
Swap fettuccine for linguine or penne if preferred.
For dairy-free, substitute heavy cream and Parmesan with coconut cream and vegan cheese.
Reheat leftovers gently, adding cream or milk if sauce thickens.
