Ingredients

4 cups frozen peas, thawed

1 cup diced cheddar cheese

1/2 cup chopped celery

1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper

1/4 cup finely chopped red onion

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1/4 cup sour cream

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

1 tablespoon sugar

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

In a large bowl, combine thawed peas, diced cheddar, celery, red bell pepper, and red onion.

In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper until smooth.

Pour dressing over the pea mixture and gently toss to coat everything evenly.

Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to let the flavors blend.

Stir gently before serving and enjoy!

Notes

Substitute red onion with green onions for a milder flavor.

Add diced ham or crispy bacon for extra protein and taste.

Swap cheddar for a milder cheese like mozzarella or Monterey Jack.

Use Greek yogurt in place of sour cream for a lighter version.

Fresh herbs like parsley or dill add a vibrant, fresh twist.
