Ingredients

  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled, pitted, and chopped
  • 4 black tea bags
  • 4 cups water (plus more for blending)
  • 24 tbsp honey or sugar (to taste)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional)
  • Ice
  • Optional: mint leaves or mango slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Remove from heat and steep tea bags for 5–7 minutes. Discard tea bags and let tea cool to room temperature.
  2. Blend chopped mango with a little water until smooth. Strain for a smoother texture, if desired.
  3. In a large pitcher, combine cooled tea with mango puree. Stir well.
  4. Add honey or sugar and lemon juice, adjusting to taste. Mix until dissolved.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour until well chilled.
  6. Serve over ice, garnished with mint leaves or mango slices if desired.

  • Use green tea for a lighter flavor.
  • Mix in passion fruit or pineapple juice for a tropical blend.
  • Add club soda for a sparkling version.
