Instructions

Preheat & Prep

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan and set aside.

Make the Banana Bread Batter

In a bowl, mix mashed bananas, granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.

Add flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Stir just until combined.

Make the Brownie Batter

In a separate bowl, whisk melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla.

Add cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Mix until smooth and glossy.

Layer & Bake

Pour banana bread batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.

Gently spread the brownie batter over the banana layer.

Bake for 25–30 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out mostly clean with a few moist crumbs.

Cool & Slice

Allow brownies to cool completely before slicing.

Add optional toppings if desired before serving.

Notes

For a swirl effect, gently marble the two batters with a knife before baking.

These brownies taste even better the next day once fully set.

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
