Ingredients

  • 2024 cooked shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 tbsp red onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 tbsp fresh cilantro (chopped)
  • 1 small tomato (deseeded and diced)
  • Optional: 1 small jalapeño (finely chopped)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2024 tortilla chips, cucumber slices, or toasted baguette rounds
  • Optional garnish: extra cilantro, chili flakes, lime wedges

Instructions

  1. Mash avocados in a bowl. Mix in lime juice, red onion, cilantro, tomato, jalapeño (if using), salt, and pepper to make guacamole.
  2. Pat shrimp dry. If large, slice in half lengthwise for easier bites.
  3. Arrange tortilla chips, cucumber slices, or baguette rounds on a platter.
  4. Spoon guacamole onto each base.
  5. Top each with a shrimp and garnish with cilantro or chili flakes.
  6. Serve immediately for best texture and freshness.

Notes

  • Add spicy mayo or chipotle sauce for extra flavor.
  • Use mango or pineapple salsa instead of guacamole for a fruity variation.
  • Sauté shrimp in garlic-lime butter for added richness.
  • Use cucumber or bell pepper slices for a low-carb option.
  • Prep guacamole and shrimp in advance, assemble just before serving.
