Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 slices provolone or mozzarella cheese
  • 4 burger buns
  • Optional: lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles, crispy bacon

Instructions

  1. Form ground beef into 4 patties and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Cook patties in a hot skillet or on a grill for 4–5 minutes per side until desired doneness. Add cheese slices in the last minute to melt.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan and cook until thick and smooth.
  5. Toast buns lightly.
  6. Assemble burgers with cheesy patty, a spoonful of garlic Parmesan sauce, and desired toppings. Top with bun and serve.
