Ingredients

  • 1 tsp minced garlic or garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 small onion, finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup shredded or cubed cheddar or American cheese
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • Optional: pickles, mustard, or ketchup for filling

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and onion until browned and cooked through. Season with salt and pepper, then let cool slightly.
  3. Flatten each biscuit into a 4–5 inch circle. Place a spoonful of beef mixture and cheese in the center.
  4. Fold edges of dough up and pinch to seal into a ball. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  5. Mix melted butter with garlic and Parmesan, then brush over each dough ball.
  6. Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool for a few minutes and serve warm.

Notes

  • Add bacon bits, jalapeños, or condiments inside for flavor variations.
  • Use crescent dough for a flakier texture.
  • Try different cheeses like mozzarella, Swiss, or pepper jack.
  • Freeze leftovers for up to 2 months and reheat in oven from frozen.
