Ingredients

  • For the steak bites:
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
  • For the parmesan Alfredo shells:
  • 8 oz medium pasta shells
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 clove garlic, minced (or 1/4 tsp garlic powder, optional)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Pinch of nutmeg (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta shells in salted boiling water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season steak cubes with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak bites for 2–3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to desired doneness. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for 1 minute until fragrant. Return steak to skillet and toss in garlic butter. Set aside.
  5. For Alfredo sauce, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in heavy cream and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  6. Whisk in parmesan cheese until smooth. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg if using.
  7. Add cooked pasta to the sauce, stirring until evenly coated.
  8. Plate pasta and top or serve alongside steak bites. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

  • Swap sirloin for ribeye or tenderloin for richer flavor.
  • Use half-and-half for a lighter Alfredo sauce.
  • Add spinach or peas to the pasta for extra greens.
  • Sprinkle crushed red pepper flakes in garlic butter for heat.
  • Reheat pasta with a splash of milk or cream to loosen sauce; reheat steak quickly in a skillet.
