Ingredients

  • 4 lobster tails (46 oz each, thawed if frozen)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to broil and position rack in top third of oven.
  2. Butterfly lobster tails by cutting down the top shell and pulling the meat out to rest on top of the shell.
  3. Place lobster tails on a baking sheet.
  4. In a saucepan, melt butter. Add garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and paprika. Simmer for 1–2 minutes.
  5. Spoon or brush garlic butter over the lobster meat.
  6. Broil for 8–10 minutes, basting once halfway through, until meat is opaque and lightly browned.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
