Ingredients

For the Stir Fry:

  • 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets

  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Beef: In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with 2 tablespoons of soy sauce and 1 tablespoon of cornstarch. Let it marinate for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Make the Sauce: In a separate bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, beef broth, and 1 tablespoon cornstarch. Set aside.
  3. Stir-Fry: Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add minced garlic and stir-fry for 30 seconds. Add marinated beef and cook until browned. Add the vegetables and stir-fry for a few minutes until tender-crisp.
