Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (for dredging)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 68 garlic cloves, minced or thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then dredge lightly in flour.
  2. Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  4. Reduce heat and sauté garlic in the same skillet until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  5. Add chicken broth to deglaze the pan, scraping up browned bits.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan (if using), simmer until slightly thickened.
  7. Return chicken to skillet and simmer for 5–10 minutes until cooked through and sauce is creamy.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • Add mushrooms or spinach for extra veggies.
  • For a lemony twist, stir in lemon juice or zest at the end.
  • Spice it up with red pepper flakes during garlic sauté.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat gently on the stovetop with a splash of broth or cream.
