Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 2 cups bread crumbs
  • 1 cup cooked cranberries
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: 1 egg (for binding)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté chopped onion until soft, about 4–5 minutes. Add garlic and cook for another 30 seconds, then set aside to cool slightly.
  3. In a large bowl, mix ground turkey, bread crumbs, cooked cranberries, sautéed onion and garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper. Add egg if the mixture is too dry.
  4. Roll mixture into golf ball-sized balls and place on the baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Let rest a few minutes before serving. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

  • Use rehydrated dried cranberries if cooked or fresh aren’t available.
  • Add celery, carrots, or cheese for extra texture and flavor.
  • Substitute turkey with ground chicken or pork if desired.
