Ingredients

2 medium ripe bananas (firm, yellow with minimal spotting)
1 tablespoon coconut sugar or brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Cooking spray (optional)

Instructions

Peel the bananas and slice them into thin, even rounds (about 1/8 inch thick).
Preheat the air fryer to 330°F (165°C). Lightly spray the basket with cooking spray or line with perforated parchment paper.
In a small bowl, mix the coconut sugar (or brown sugar) with cinnamon.
Place banana slices in a bowl and gently toss with the cinnamon-sugar mixture until evenly coated.
Arrange slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket without overlapping.
Air fry for 10–14 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Remove when golden and slightly crisp (add 2–3 more minutes if needed).
Let cool on a wire rack for 5–10 minutes to crisp up fully before serving.

Notes

Use firm bananas to avoid mushy chips.
Slice evenly for consistent cooking.
Do not overcrowd the air fryer—cook in batches if needed.
Chips crisp up more as they cool.
