Ingredients

  • 1 package refrigerated pizza dough (or crescent roll dough)
  • 1216 slices pepperoni
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce or marinara sauce, plus extra for dipping
  • Optional: 1/4 cup grated Parmesan, chopped fresh basil or Italian seasoning
  • Optional dipping sauce: extra pizza sauce or garlic butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease lightly.
  2. Roll dough into a rectangle (~¼-inch thick) on a floured surface.
  3. Spread sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.

  5. Add Parmesan and basil or Italian seasoning if using.
  6. Roll dough tightly from the long side into a log.
  7. Slice the log into 12–16 pieces (about 1–1½ inches each) and arrange slice-side down on the baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden and cheese is melted.

  10. Serve slightly cooled with extra sauce or garlic butter for dipping.

Notes

  • Add thinly sliced bell peppers, mushrooms, or spinach for a veggie boost.
  • Combine pepperoni with salami, cooked sausage, or ham for a meatier version.
  • Mix mozzarella with provolone or cheddar for flavor variety.
  • Sprinkle red pepper flakes or chopped jalapeño inside for a spicy kick.
  • Freeze assembled roll-ups and bake directly from frozen, adding a few minutes to bake time.
