Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs large shrimp, peeled and deveined (tails on or off)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pat shrimp dry and season with salt, pepper, and a drizzle of olive oil.
  3. In a small bowl, mix parmesan, panko, garlic, parsley, lemon zest, and melted butter until crumbly.
  4. Arrange shrimp in a single layer on the baking sheet. Spoon parmesan mixture evenly over each shrimp.
  5. Bake for 8–10 minutes, until shrimp turn pink and topping is golden brown.
  6. Serve immediately with fresh lemon wedges.

Notes

  • Add red pepper flakes to the breadcrumb mixture for a spicy kick.
  • Use a parmesan-pecorino blend for richer flavor.
  • For a lighter version, replace butter with olive oil (less rich crust).
  • Air fry at 375°F for 6–7 minutes for a crispier finish.
  • Shrimp cook quickly—avoid overbaking to keep them tender.
