Ingredients

  • 2 flour tortillas (8-inch size)
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (or 1/2 tsp garlic powder)
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 tsp dried parsley)
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan or shredded mozzarella (optional)
  • Olive oil spray (optional, for crispiness)

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 2–3 minutes.
  2. In a small bowl, mix softened butter with garlic, parsley, and salt until well combined.
  3. Spread garlic butter evenly over one side of each tortilla, going all the way to the edges.
  4. Sprinkle with cheese if using.
  5. Place the tortilla in the air fryer basket, buttered side up. Cut in half if needed to fit.
  6. Air fry for 4–6 minutes until golden, bubbling, and crispy.
  7. Remove carefully and slice into wedges or strips. Serve hot.

Notes

  • Use garlic powder for a quicker version.
  • Try mozzarella or a cheese blend for a gooier, cheesy option.
  • Whole wheat or low-carb tortillas also work well.
  • Top with red pepper flakes for heat or roasted garlic for depth.
  • Cut into triangles before air frying to make garlic chips.
