Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (or ground turkey)
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder (optional)
  • 4 slices cooked bacon, chopped (optional)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or American cheese slices)
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • Pickle slices
  • Ketchup, as needed
  • Mustard, as needed
  • Mayonnaise (optional, as needed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, seasoning with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in chopped bacon (if using), then mix in cheese while the beef is warm until melted.
  4. Warm tortillas until pliable. Divide beef mixture among tortillas, top with pickles, ketchup, mustard, and mayo.
  5. Fold sides in, roll into burrito-style wraps, and brush or spray outside lightly with oil or melted butter.
  6. Place wraps seam-side down in the air fryer basket and cook 5–7 minutes, flipping halfway, until tortillas are golden and crispy.
  7. Let rest briefly, cut in half, and serve hot.

Notes

  • Swap in ground turkey, chicken, or plant-based meat as a lighter alternative.
  • Experiment with pepper jack, Swiss, or mozzarella cheese.
  • Add tomatoes, shredded lettuce, or sautéed onions for extra veggies.
  • Switch up sauces—BBQ, spicy mayo, or special sauce work well.
  • Try different wraps like naan, lavash, or crescent dough.
