A creamy high protein ice cream made with cottage cheese, honey, and sea salt using the Ninja CREAMi. An easy low calorie dessert that tastes indulgent and takes minutes to prep.
16 oz cottage cheese (1% small curd recommended)
1/4 cup honey (raw, organic, unfiltered)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp flaky sea salt (plus more for topping)
3–5 large dates, chopped
Freeze Base
In a pint-size Ninja CREAMi container, combine all ingredients except dates. Mix well, cover with lid, and freeze for about 4 hours or until solid.
Slightly Thaw
Remove from freezer and let sit at room temperature for 10–15 minutes, or run the container under hot water for 2 minutes to loosen the sides.
Blend
Place container in the Ninja CREAMi and process using the Lite Ice Cream setting.
Mix-Ins & Serve
Add chopped dates and use the Mix-In function. Serve immediately with extra flaky sea salt on top and enjoy!
