1/3 cup corn kernals (be sure to buy Non-GMO popcorn kernals!)
1 brown paper lunch bag

one serving is 2 cups of popped corn
Place 1/2 the popcorn kernals in the bag and fold the top over a few times. Place in the microwave and listen for the popping sounds to slow down a lot (about 3 -4 minutes). Stop the microwave and take out the popped corn. Repeat with the 2nd half of the kernals.
Here's where we get fancy.... you can add any of the combinations below into the bag and then enjoy your snack!
1. A drizzle of melted butter or olive oil and a sprinkle of salt. OR
2. Drizzle olive oil over popcorn and then sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of smoked paprika, 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley leaves, and 1 teaspoon of salt. OR
3. Drizzle a little olive oil over popcorn and then sprinkle with 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast, 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin, a pinch of cayenne pepper, and 1 teaspoon salt. OR how about this mixture?
4. Combine 1 ounce of Parmigiano-Reggiano with 1/4 cup fresh parsley leaves, 1 garlic clove, and 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes in the bowl of a food processor. Pulse until finely ground. Drizzle the popcorn with 2 tablespoons melted butter in a large bowl and toss to coat. Add the seasoning mix and toss again.
