Here’s a great recipe for making Organic Salsa hta’s straight from Auny Sue’s kitchen in Colorado. It uses any peppers you may have ripening in your garden or you find at the farmer’s market. It’s quick and easy to make and can be made in large batches and canned for a special winter treat. My children love eating this salsa and it never lasts long on the pantry shelf.
The longer this sits in the refrigerator or the pantry shelf, the flavors will meld and come together to be even more tasty. The salsa should be good for up to 2 weeks stored in the refrigerator and up to a year when canned.
Feel free to experiment with it and add your own ingredients — then let us all know how it turns out.
